PHENAZEPAM – is a tranquilliser that belongs to the class of benzodiazepines. It diminishes anxiety, convulsions and locomotor activity and provides potent long acting sedative, hypnotic, muscle relaxant, anxiolytic, anticonvulsant effects. It works by enhancing the action of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). Phenazepam is used to treat severe anxiety disorders, insomnia, muscle spasm, withdrawal symptoms, convulsions (in particular epilepticus and febrile). Read more about Phenazepam.

Phenazepam comes in the form of tablets. Active substance is Bromdihydrochlorphenylbenzodiazepinum – 2,5mg.
For oral administration with or without meals.
Fear, anxiety relief, psychomotor agitation: average daily dose – 3-5 mg, in severe cases 7-9 mg.
Sleep disturbance: 0.5 mg, 20-30 minutes before bedtime.
Neurotic and psychopathy-like state: 0.5-1 mg, 2-3 times a day.
Alcohol withdrawal syndrome: 2-5 mg a day.
Diseases with muscular hypertension: 2-3 mg, 1-2 times a day. Maximum daily dose is 10 mg.
